Well if we are talking objectively….. let’s add Mahomes to the list. Bottom tier quarterback this season, despite the successes his defense has helped him with. Brady was carried by his defense and got hate for it for years. When does Patty get that treatment?

Good God, this guy hates Brock Purdy that much. Mahomes looks like an average QB with no receivers out there as well. Huh, no one ever says Steve Young is just an ok qb without Jerry being out there. Let’s face it, If Brock is a small guy that’s why there so much hate.

He lost his number 1 WR, his number 2 WR, and his LT midgame (and midgame injuries are trickier because you can't gameplan around it) against the best defense in the NFL. He definitely deserves heavy criticism for his performance, but whenever other top flight QB's play terribly they don't get instantly moved to pumpkin tier. Stroud had less than 100 yards, and Stafford had 150 yards and an INT, but they just get knocked down a few pegs. GUESS WHAT?! PURDY IS NOT A FEW PEGS AWAY FROM PUMPKIN

The guy has hated Purdy since day one. All Nick does is critize Purdy. Full time job for him. Mahomes just had a horrible game. He says nothing of that because they won.

I really wish nick would be objective about mahomes and realize he is mediocre this year. He used to be the anti qb-wins guy but he turns a blind eye to mahomes because they are undefeated. Don’t get me wrong, I think purdy is overrated as well, but I cant sit here and listen to nick defend mahomes with the same argument he attacked garopollo and purdy with

Any QB without their weapons is gonna look worse, its just common sense. Any game plan without the full complements of weapons is going to be less potent. Thats why the Chiefs defense has been so important this year in carrying the mediocrity that has been the Patrick Mahomes lead offense in 2024.
