Top 25 BEST Dark Rides in Florida - 2022

I LOVE dark rides. I genuinely think that along with coasters, these special rides share an equal part of the overall theme park experience, at least for me. Hence why I enjoy THEME parks much more than your typical amusement park. Theme parks HAVE these immersive dark rides, which place you into different worlds, worlds that you can’t necessarily explore unless you're in said theme park. So let’s jump into the top 25 BEST dark rides in Florida.

The haunted mansion IS thrilling when you're ten and it's a thunderstorm and ur family makes u go on to get rid of your fear of it and you go and you get trapped because the ride stops midway through

Awesome list, can’t say I’m as big of a fan of Transformers as you are having ridden the Hollywood version but maybe it’ll grow on me the more I ride it.

I'm sorry, but I had to tap out after calling Fast and Furious one of the top 25 dark rides. It is by far Universal's worst attraction. F&F and the Jimmy Fallon ride don't belong in any Universal park. Like I said, I gave up, but at least consider the old Dr. Seuss (prior to removing the spins) ride as one of the top ones. If you consider Gringott's, Forbidden Journey, or Mummy dark rides, then they should all be top 5. Spiderman (Universal) is still awesome 22 years later and the Transformers ride on a lower budget is better than the new Kong ride which is underwhelming other than theming. The outside portion is really impressive at night due to theming.

Only problem with Transformers is I can't get off of that ride without major neck pain from the whiplash everytime haha

GREAT list most of which i agree with, but i just don’t understand the hype for rise of the resistance. while yes i will admit i loved the immersion cause i love dark rides it just didn’t live up to what people had made it out to be. im not saying it’s a bad ride it’s just not my favorite. the only thing i would change about your list is swap forbidden journey and rise. forbidden journey is my personal favorite ride ever, even AFTER riding rise very recently.
