Today is the last day of Stagecoach operating 248 so I thought I should merge all the clips I have of the 248, and include a journey, to make my last day video for 248. I’m quite sad that Arriva is taking over the route as I’m not a fan of the LTs. It’s going to be weird seeing LTs at Grays (GY) lol. I think there will be some DWs temporarily but I’m not 100% sure, ig we’ll have to see. I’ve grown up with Stagecoach on 248 and it’s going to be unusual seeing the route without Scanias.

I think the Scanias at RM will also go since they have no use anymore, unless they transfer but I highly doubt that. Hopefully the Scanias have some time left as I’m not done visualling all the RM routes on an Omnicity XD

Thank u Stagecoach for operating 248 or many years. Hopefully Arriva doesn’t ruin the route.

Nice! This brings back memories of when 51 was Stagecoach, I have been growing up with these on that route until it was transferred back to Go-Ahead (first time 51 was Go Ahead was better because it was PVLs)

It's sad when a bus company loses it's bus route because it takes a while to get used to the bus route being operated by the new bus company.

15019 was a smoker, this going into ULEZ is 💰 drainer 😅😅 still one of the best Scanias Stagecoach has, plenty of power and loads of over rev when needed😢miss it

Yeah I think these would probably be withdrawn they are 14 years old so there is no further use for them at stagecoach or anywhere else in the capital
