A former underground nuclear bunker, with 56 bedrooms and two storeys, has gone on sale for £435,000.

The bunker, known as Hope Cove Bunker, is situated near Salcombe in Devon and was constructed in 1941 to be used as a Second World War radar station. However, with the threat of a nuclear attack during the Cold War, the structure was redeveloped in the 1950s into a regional government base.

How sad is it that we all watch that and wish we had a place like that to escape to? A sign of the times. Sad.

Funny that we’re being told to practice bunker drills nowadays and this is one of the very few things I can find about bunkers in England… what a fun time we live in.

Creepy yet intriguing at the same time.. Kind of like horror movies only AS REAL AS IT GETS🧐

Very ugly. No one will take it. The rewiring costs are prohibitive.

Fake. Notice how the camera doesn't walk up to the front door?

I would build a 2 person bunker and tell no one about it. People wil do everything when they times is there to survive them self also if they need to kill others for it. Me also of course
