connections are a super power in its own right. its why i try to maintain good contact with people. shop owners, cops, fire fighters, hospital staff, plumbers, mechanics, ...
for example: every year with christmas, i send chocolates to the police and fire department, to the hospital, the butcher, the bakery, the hair salon, ... with new year, a bottle of champaign for my fav snackbar, my fav plumber, ...
have i ever asked for anything in return? no. cause it makes me happy to see other people happy.
but i know that when the time calls for it, they have my back and are very likely to remember me.
connections not only make your life safer and more comfy, having connections also brings more happiness and joy to you and those around you.
