This song captures the very emotions I felt as I watched my mother wither away from her pill addiction when I was a child. Helpness held me down. The desperate cry, "But I could not save you as you faded out..." was the pain no one ever heard, but me. "I remember the that day I lost you. I held it in my lungs."
