Europeans can save gaming! (short version)

Short promotion of the European Citizens' Initiative! If passed, it would create new law to prevent publishers from destroying games they have already sold to you. Get EU citizens to sign it!

Reminding young people reading the comments that a couple of decades ago this used to be the norm. You could use your computer to host servers for almost every game and just had to ask your friends to connect so you could play together. In fact you still can, just need to download the game or the server files.

Don't believe that this is somehow impossible, it's just a bit more work. This work used to be considered necessary in order to show that you respect customers and only stopped being so when corporate took over the industry.
