Flute virtuoso Carina Bruwer sets the mood with a burning solo, going into the energetic Reel.

Wonderful!!! Simply wonderful. It is also so nice to see and hear this lovely music without seeing someone flitting across the stage flinging their hair and doing what I consider 'show off' moves. They certainly feel the music while they are playing but they do NOT distract from the music. WELL DONE!!! I added this to my Celtic Playlist and a major group, not to be named, will never be on my Playlist. Thank you for this video!

Sensational talent coupled with spellbinding showmanship. I've watched Reel in the Sun in Riverdance performances dozens of times. But this was absolutely extraordinary.

@SilaVendethiel I do not know who Mairead Nesbitt is, but I didn't use any names. The people I have seen are very talented, but more suited to a Broadway production. That is not a jibe! I saw my first Broadway show at 17 when tickets were less than $10. I still watch the Tony's. ...BUT, it is a production. I like the raw songs the best. I love the Highland Sessions I have seen! Anyway, I think these musicians are excellent AND they feel the music also. Thank you for commenting. Barbara
