Bible says “believe and be saved” hundreds of times. Because then: Belief means no condemnation status. That status allows union by faith to grow. Union causes remission and life.

So: first focus on belief. There is a lot of evidence for the resurrection, plus the Spirit will inform. Second, focus on faith and union (learn about Christ, behold His face). Remission and life happen AUTOMATICALLY. Don’t focus on them directly (being sin-conscious and focusing on works). The root is belief, the trunk is faith and union. Let the leaves blossom on their own.

Is our mystical union with Christ purely legal? Sounds like you were making that claim.
