This guy looks like a cross between Thor and Jim Hopper from stranger things.

I’ve lost 33 pounds in 40 days with two meals of chicken and broccoli eating from 12-6pm. I have no energy loss and have lost cravings for sugars and over eating. Thanks for the inspiration fellas

When I was younger and broke af, getting enough high quality protein was a struggle. Being able to eat chicken all the time is a blessing I don’t take for granted.

If I'm not mistaken, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, brussel sprouts, asparagus, and spinach are are practically the same calorie/macro-wise, just different vitamins. I rotate those so I don't go nuts eating the same stuff every day.

This diet is fantastic for loosing weight when your BMI is way over and you're not hitting the gym like these guys are. I run this diet once a month, backed up with fish oil and muti V. Running three days, at home abb and core workout at home. I lost 20kg in 2 months, 15kg off my goal weight of 76kg.

The chicken and broccoli cereal ad looked like a 90´s WWE promo.

I've tried this diet a couple of times now. Recently restarted with it in order to cut all that covid weight. This time I've added in protein bread and avocado to my morning. After 2 weeks I've already cut close to 21 lb end up seeing tremendous gains in muscle definition and minor muscle mass increase in upper body. Love everything you guys do.

"I don't really want that super lean, nothing but veins and muscle look." Words that have never been uttered in Youtube Fitness History.

The sad part about it it’s that this is what every Instagram fitness guru says they eat 24/7 and people believe it, do it and since it’s impossible to maintain it they just end up giving up and never reach their goals

I came here to learn a little more. Im considering the chicken broc diet as a baseline to feed myself while i add one food as a time. I want to see how certain foods really make me feel such as tomatoes, grains esp wheat, and various types of sugar. Theres not much better way that i can think of.

You can grind chicken and use it like hamburger. You can serve on or off the bone. Broth seems fair. And there is a flavor difference between white and dark meat.

One thing to anyone considering this diet is that cruciferous vegetables aka brassicae (look them up) are all genetically the same exact food including brocolli. They were bred from the same ancestral plants for accentuated root, stems, leaves, and flowers. So it seems fair to me that you could branch out beyond just broc....cauliflower, cabbage, kale, turnips, brussell sprouts, bok choy. There are lots more and nutritionally....they are all exactly the same. Why not include them?

As for flavor agents they can take you off the rails if you arent careful and then your whole experiment is sabotaged. But if you cant flavor your foods then you might not last either. Ya need something to keep things interesting. Coconut oil and olive oil are considered pretty healthy by most. Then theres fresh herbs...basil parsley dill etc. Chili peppers, onions, garlic, and lemons and limes may contain some sugars but pack big flavors and are very healthy too. Dried spices would prob be fair game too. Paprika, crushed red, cinnamon, black pepper etc.

Vary your flavor profiles with your cooking methods. Grilled, sauteed, air fried, stir fried, boiled, steamed....

If you are creative you can make it work.

I did this back in 2000 when I was obese...a 40 year old female at 5'3" and 200 pounds with small bones just didn't cut it, I looked like a busted can of biscuits. I did intermittent fasting ( basically ate from 6 pm to. 11pm) and dropped from 200 to 108 in 4.5 months.

I went on a similar diet a few years ago. It was only difficult for the first week. After that, it became very easy. I lost all my cravings for sugar and carbs. I lost a lot of weight, too.
