Keeping with the car detailing theme, renowned cue maker Rodney Hinde recommended T Cut to clean the butt end before using a good liquid wax for dark wood.

does this mean that any kind of car wax can be used on the snooker cue butt ??? and that it will not damage the wood or make it sticky or discolour the butt ???

Thanks for the tip! Just ordered some to give it a go! I've got an old vintage Ash cue that doesn't have any splicing. Its Ash from top to bottom. Can I use this stuff on that cue? Will it leave it silky smooth or will it make it grippy? I'm finishing the cue with raw linseed oil and was thinking of applying this polish afterwards to shine it all up but not if it'll end up grippy. Cheers

Do you have any advice on to to fill in black stuff that's crumbling off, l and got little holes missing, on the butt of your cue? Many thanks.
