1st train - Heading south to put away the passenger train

2nd train- Running light north to pick up some hoppers

3rd train- Taking the hoppers south back to town.

I was born and grew up there and I will say I have such core memories of riding both this and the same passenger cars pulled by a small switcher steam tank engine. Love this video

This is former FP&E 107 which worked the old Diamond Shamrock plant in Fairport. This unit and 101 are the last 'active' working units from the FP&E with 101 working on the Ohi-Rail in Minerva. Two others have been preserved as museum pieces somewhere

I don't live far from the AC&J Railroad and it's a shame to see that the entire place looks like it's in ruins.
