After my mother found out she had cancer, the first thing she wanted was to go back to her hometown. The news and the fright moved her so much, me too but I couldn't show that I was worse than her after having lost my father recently and she couldn't stop thinking that I would be alone in the world. Through the bedroom window I looked at my mother every day in the hospitalization room and I couldn't do absolutely anything to help, you know when you want to do anything to change a situation but you feel powerless. It was painful just to look, I would leave the room and go to a reserved place and break down crying if I could I would change places with her. She was a warrior, after the first exam when she found out everything and they said she only had four weeks to live, she couldn't stop smiling even though she knew deep down that each day was a goodbye. Mom, you must be with my dad right now and know that you are missed and I love you both so much, not a day goes by that I don't think of you.
