Palestinian man interrupts live broadcast, delivers message from “the heart of Gaza”

“Let this world hear me. This world that has become deaf, or silent, or blind to what’s happening in Gaza.”
A Palestinian man in Rafah interrupts a live broadcast of Al Jazeera Mubasher “to send a message” to the world “from the heart of Gaza.”
He explained that people in the north are starving and forced to eat animal fodder due to the scarcity of food.
An eight-year-old Palestinian girl, Hanin Saleh Hassan Jumaa, died from dehydration and starvation in Gaza City, according to a report by the NGO Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor on 19 February.
The organisation’s teams in northern Gaza confirmed that her death was caused by a severe calcium deficiency resulting from prolonged malnutrition.
