Musk declared "80% of Earth’s payload to orbit by SpaceX" shocked the whole industry

The SpaceX steamroller has shifted into a higher gear this year.
And SpaceX’s 100-launch target is more realistic than it seems.
But now, Musk even declared "80% of Earth’s payload to orbit by SpaceX" which shocked the whole industry.
Discuss everything about this in today’s episode of Alpha Tech:
In 2022, SpaceX on average launched every 6 days from one of our three sites with 92% of missions completed with flight-proven first stage rocket boosters, and Falcon 9 now holds the world record for most launches of a single vehicle type in a single year.
"Most importantly, SpaceX successfully delivered our customers’ payloads to orbit, deployed additional Starlink satellites that add more capacity to our network, and flew critical cargo and astronauts to the @space_station and safely returned them back home [to] Earth".

These are exciting times for sure!🚀🚀👍👍

We're on the verge of something very cool in the decade. To see how SpaceX has gone from test flights to setting records for flights of F9 I think Starship is going to be amazing. Can't wait for the orbital flight test.

Both on earth's moon and Mars drilled core samples are going to be provide key evidence of mineral resources. On Mars there is even a slight chance deep drilling may find liquid water. What development is being done for creating drilling rigs for operation on and transport to Mars and earth's moon? The first few core samples are gong to be the most exciting. Many thousands of core samples are going to be needed for understanding and discovering mineral resources on these worlds. There are large construction needs for these outposts requiring heavy "earth" moving equipment. What is being done to develop this equipment? This large equipment transport will influence the requirements of future space ships.

"Besos declared "0% of Earth’s payload to orbit by Blue Origin" just SHOCKED the world (that's just a lie, no one is shocked!)"
SPACEX:
2022 - 60+ launches to LEO+
2023 - 100+ (forecast) launches to LEO+
<yeah so, even my dog can do the math on this one>

"No other company on earth has that capability" correction, no company or government, no matter how much money they throw at it.

Elon is not wrong about the small potatoes part. Most people can't grasp the scale of mass we have to drive out of the gravity well to be interplanetary even when you show them how much.

Thank you again for another EXCELLENT and EDUCATIONAL presentation on the record setting pace of the achievements of SpaceX in Space flight technology, that seeks to benefit humanity entirely.

Here's how SpaceX can help lower the cost of Artemis. While SLS is maintaining is 1 launch : 1.5 year cadence, SpaceX should commercialize its HLS. Start taking scientists and others to the moon, getting the HLS lunar landing volume up, so it can cut its price per landing to NASA. That way, when NASA spends $ 4.5 billion to get 4 astronauts into lunar orbit via SLS/Orion, the NASA astronauts need only queue up behind the others, then take the next available HLS lander down to the surface! It's just zany enough to work!

Man it’s awesome seeing such progress with rockets. If only we had more eccentric billionaires like musk

1:30 HEY WAIT Blue Origin's not on the comparison table--oh uh, the table is for total mass launched to orbit? *Slinks away quietly.*

CALIFORNIA BASED? I THOUGHT ELON MOVED SPACEX TO TEXAS.

Barring intervention from Musk's enemies the sky is the limit. I mean it soon won't be.

There is probably more runway for SpaceX to improve operations around Falcon 9 Block 5, in terms of improving a range of efficiencies (turnaround times, launch cadence, in the end marginal costs for a launch, etc.). Suspect that within ten years Starship will provide one heck of a heavy lift launch system for payloads into Low Earth Orbit, that will make future space station programs/projects more economical and feasible, as well as support operations for Lunar missions (say in addition to the Lunar lander, a Lunar shuttle). Can't really say beyond that, although a nuclear Starship lunar shuttle would probably be possible by the 2030s, and could provide the basis for proofing out technology for manned Mars Missions. The idea about large, unmanned Startship craft undertaking planetary exploration missions is interesting, and to the point about a nuclear Starship lunar shuttle, may make sense to proof out that concept with unmanned missions to Jupiter (which would benefit from energy from the reactor, as well as possibly faster transit times and larger payloads)?

Have to admit this is impressive about Musk. However he is one to watch for several reasons, not all good unfortunately. The man should be asked to help develop war satellites and space rocket shield lasers for American military

Except 95% of that are those bloody starlink satellites
