PowerShell ISE (Integrated Scripting Environment) Basics

PowerShell ISE isn't dead YET! I recommend people learn how to use this PowerShell editor that is still pre-loaded with Windows 10. In this video I go over some basics of how to use it.

NOTE: PowerShell version 6 and above is no longer supported and while it is still receiving security updates from Microsoft, it will no longer get new features or functionality. That being said I still use it as a go-to tool but now incorporate Visual Studio Code as my main IDE.

Excellent introduction. I like how the presenter recaps certain parts of the session, following the golden rule of interactive presentations, " Say what you will show; show it; finally at the end of each section, summarize what was shown". Well done!

@1:05, best way to change that would be to change the scaling of your display.
Start > Settings > System > Display > Scale ... You could change it from 100% to 150%
Though the text was sized well enough for me

Thank you so much for making me understand Powershell in this short minute. I guess carrying on from here wouldn't be that much of a headache.

Solid show! Are these scripts portable between Windows and PowerShell for Linux? Could I run this on Raspberry Pi, for instance?

Yo can make the size of the fonts bigger or smaller in the 3 panes with "CTRL +" or "CTRL -".
Press CTRL and at the same time + to whatever size you need or CTRL and then at the same time - to make it smaller.
