It a once in a lifetime opportunity for the finder to cash in as much as he can. The finder has a lot to lose by just giving away the solve... book or movie deal or possible just sell the story to a magazine.. I think the seller could also sell the correct solve with the chest making it more valuable to the buyer, giving the buyer all the options to make the extra money

This occurred to me while watching this Those rusty scissors. A pair of blades. "If you've been wise and found the blades...". Theory: the scissors were not inside the chest, they acted as a pointer/guide to the chest's location. Find the "blades", look quickly down etc. Also, scissors in the open position form the shape of an "X". Hmmm. " X marks the spot "??? .... Conceal chest at foot of tree, attach scissors to trunk of tree (head-height?) in open position. Ten years later, very rusty scissors.

Fenn wanted the bracelet back so badly he sent someone to fetch the chest for him. Who really cares about a bracelet when they're 89 years old, or gold for that matter.

That was probably one of the items that was surprising to the finder and something forrest and the finder would only know that they were in there. If forrest asked all the supposed finders ( what doesn't belong in there?) No one would ever guess scissors

Forrest said he had not communicated with the finder since 2018....He never answered any of my emails, over the past 3 years. So, some lucky searchers got to communicate with the wizard, and others left in the dark.

The finder is not going to lose anything by revealing the coordinates.

I'd like to see a photo of the chest prior to being removed from its resting place. This stinks to high heaven, Fenn won't reveal the location and says the finder doesn't want to be known, What's the prevent the finder from revealing the location? This is weird, Fenn is shown looking at the chest like a kid in a candy store. A photo of Fenn with the finder's features blotted out would suffice. I am beginning to believe someone sent Fenn the correct solve, he decided it was not going to last 100 years or 1000 years...had someone go fetch it for him. Bang, End of Chase. No more lawsuits. Come on Fenn, location please.

Forrest drove and put treasure out and got back in the same day. Tells me probably up in Colorado on the border with New Mexico but I been wrong for 10 years so I probably even got that wrong. The metal detecting company offered finder 10 grand just for a interview. The only way or reason the chest will bring a million or two dollars is due to the story. Selling just the gold by piece wouldn't be over 3 or 400K. I would assume Forrest will gift the chest to save the finder taxes.

A lot of people bought his book TTOTC because he said it contained "hints" to the clues. OK, tell us what hints were in the book. Why not?

because they've been keeping their solve secret for a long time and they need to vent. Maybe those scissors aren't rusty but ornate and possibly not even associated with the chest .Maybe they're office scissors used to open some plastic .

One general area in particular sticks out on the map based on the map version publicized.( It's embellishment perhaps.)
I would think one logical place to search would have been right on the border of where Idaho and Montana meet for numerous reasons. ( Some of which I will note. Forrest once stated he wished to be buried like a Pharoah- ( a god.) " Idaho And Montana" = I AM / " I AM" are Christ's words in which He declared His Divinity.
There is a " Natural Eyesocket" in the shared border of Idaho/ Montana. ( Perhaps the area to which the chest was found.)

I'd like to know where "the hundreds of rubies, sapphires and diamonds" are! You spoke of the good bugs and the bad. You're pretty smart, so you likely already know about this, but if you don't, look into companion plants.

Lol Bribe kind of funny...All the finder has to do is talk to fenn say that the treasure was on fenns property found after he found a note in bottle saying the real location, then state he actually found the treasure can be revealed if on fenns property no government issue if gift. Fenns alive if he wasn't then would be more issues. Also if you enlarge the photo some the size of coins you can kind of get an idea 3 of them looks like the size of the golden plates and usually how big are those plates if you google.

I'm sorry but the evidence doesn't seem very concrete, it seems far more probable Fenn had someone go retrieve it for him.
