Christopher Alesund, also known by his gaming name, GeT_RiGhT, is a 26-year-old professional Counter-Strike player from Sweden. He plays for the team Ninjas in Pyjamas and has amassed over $350,000 in prize money over the course of his 10-year career. Though Alesund and his team now fill stadiums at tournaments around the world, he remembers a time when esports didn’t draw crowds and couldn’t earn him a living.
