Onboard: Lotus 87B qualifying on Spa - HQ V8 sound

Lotus 87B Formula 1 car qualifying lap on Spa Francorchamps.

This car was built for the 1981 Formula One season and was driven by Nigel Mansell. The Lotus 87 was the first Lotus F1 car to be built from Carbon Fibre and as a result it only weighs 587kg. The engine is a 3 liter Cosworth V8 producing around 500hp.
