This is nuts. Fusion 360 has a sketch slot command that is about 10 times faster.

Why is is so damn difficult to make a simple slot. I swear NX devs don't actually use their product

Ignoring the fact that you wasted 5 minutes creating a part in 7 steps that could/should have been done in an unseen 2, the steps that you had to go thru to create a slot is unbelievable. NX is like ordering a high end cabinet and receiving a tree, the chemical formula for a nice finish and no instructions. Features like 'Slot' are intended to speed up the design process - it took you more than 5 minutes.
