Hey giday mate. I used the BC's that were for MX83. Just had to redrill the tophats and everything else was as per usual install.

Giday mate. I went with Crown log headers but had to flatten them a bit as well. Very restrictive. I also spaced the bottom mounts of the steering box from the chassis to pivot it away from the headers a bit. The power steering box is smaller if you can find one of those or change to rack and pinion out of another Toyota and eliminate that issue all together. I found the steering box annoying and had not enough lock. Im doing a 3UZ MX41 at the moment and will be going rack and pinion.

Overall I love it. I want to do another one but with powersteering etc. Seeing it doesnt have power steering, the larger steering box was the biggest issue as I wanted the engine back as far as I could. Power to weight is so awesome. There were no major issues though. If you use a MX41 with power steering it would be a very simple conversion. My next plan is the wagon version.

This is ages old I know but I’d love to know what rear end you used in it if you ever see this lol. So sad it was rolled

Well this car no longer exists sadley! I sold it and the new owner rolled it drunk. Full running gear is going into another RX30 though so its not all bad.

Hey Nathan, i have a 79 rx30 and im wanting to lower it with coilovers also. Do you have the BC part numbers you used? Was there much modification? Thanks
