Mavrovoúni Beach, Finikounda – Anemómylos, Messinía
Immediately after Kamaria, the long golden sandy beach of Mavrovouni or Makrynammou beach begins, which ends at Anemomilos. Mavrovuni beach is located at a distance of one kilometer from the center of Finikounda on the road from Kamaria to Finikounda, south of the Prefecture of Messinia. It is one of the most famous beaches in the area that stretches for 2 kilometers. The beach is sandy, therefore ideal for games, and crystal clear waters. It is not organized, if we exclude the section at the Windmill, nor does it have natural shade, so before your arrival you should stock up on everything you need from the shops and restaurants that operate above the beach or the campsites in the area. The beach of Anemomilos - part of Makrynammos as we mentioned - is located on the western side of Finikounta and at a distance of 500 meters from its center. The combination of the golden sand with the crystal blue waters, which gradually deepen, make it ideal for families and children. The beach is fully organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, while at the same time it is also possible to enjoy water sports. At the same time there are taverns so you can enjoy your meal whenever you want. Access to the area is very easy and is done via the existing road network.
