A tour of Stateroom 8443 on the Carnival Splendor, in the 4-person Quad set-up. This is an outside, balcony room on Deck 8, the Verandah Deck. PLUS, I also give you a bunch of tips and tricks to make ANY Splendor stateroom work better for your next cruise on the Splendor!

This room has 2 Twin Beds (which convert to a King), a Single Convertible Sofa and Upper Bunk.

Thanks so much for this video! 5 years later and it's been very helpful :) The difference between my family sailing in 2 rooms vs 1 is about $1700 and this lets me know we can make it work. We did the Splendor back in 2010 as well. Nice ship, though I think I am scarred by pink circles ;)

Our cruise was on May 29th, 2011, and at least at that time what they did was stop first in Cabo, and we were there for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday). Then we went to PV on Thursday. I'm not sure when (if ever) they might add Mazatlan back onto the itinerary. And thanks for your comment on the videos -- I did them in hopes that they'll help someone else in planning their cruise!

Carnival will not be going to Mazatlan ever again due to the bad crime there. Just incase you are now wondering, and Carnival Splendor now sales out of New York, Carnival Miracle will replace Splendor's itinerary later on this year! And please don't bring multiple plug extensions because they over surge the power and cause fires and that is the last thing you need while cruising! Trust me I have experienced it myself!
