My period story was actually kinda simple lol
It was lunch time when I found out and I was in 5th grade so we had recess and I felt wetness in my pants but I’d been having discharge for a while now so I thought it was just that, I didn’t want people to see me checking my pants but as me and my friends got ready to play walk all I did a check and it was bright red on my light grey pants. I told my friends I needed to go to the bathroom, but I was actually just gonna grab my emergency period pack my mom made for me and head to the bathroom. But, my friends started coming with me and asked what was happening and I thought oh well they r my friends so I was like, “I think my period started” so they were all excited for me and I grabbed my pads and headed to the bathroom and they were waiting outside the stalls for me and I think all of them were so surprised and excited bc they experienced that and I was grateful they were there to support me, and basically for the rest of the day I had a jacket tied around my waist and my friends were checking up on me asking if everything was alright and right after school I texted my mom the simple sentence, “my period started” and my dad was picking me up that day but I didn’t tell him anything and some people may think that’s not good but I just would’ve liked to tell my mother instead so I just waited til my mom responded and she was so happy for me and took me for a girls night out and I went to my favorite pizza place and we stopped at the grocery store next and we got pads and candy! So yeah not the worst story lol

The first time i had my period i thought it only happened one month out of a whole year. Like i got it in like September 2019 and i was like so happy that it wasnt gonna happen again until 2020 but then i got told that it was once every month not once every year lmfao.

It was tea Time at school i stood up and felt uneasy and rushed to the toilet and my white panti was full of blood i sobbed until my friends came and gave me a pad and i changed my panti when i entered class i had cramps that hurts alot my friends told me to drink water and just chill when it finally home time i went home and went to report to my mom she told me to take a shower and change and then i took enough test

When I was like 12 years I knew all about periods, but the only thing I didn't know was that it happens every month. I had saw some videos of periods they were like it happens every 5-7 days, I thought they were telling that it happens every week. Once my friend told that it happens every month. I'm glad that she told me that😂😂

i live in canada and i’ve never had a health class. every year, the teachers assumed we learned everything the year before, and didn’t bother. thank goodness i have my mother, who actually told me what i needed to know. schools, do better

Okay so I got it when I was 10 and at 11 I was in year 6 (Uk) and mh class had a sleepover at school, I literally JUST bought new pjs bc I had non lol and I went too sleep woke up next morning…Blood…It had gone right through my pad and everything! I also got it right before a colour run and had to miss it and also before my WHOLE class went swimming 😭

so this is me and my friends story. So we were siting in reading class and My friend (lets call her Brianna) asked if i had a pad so i reach in my purse and pull out a pad, roll it up, and pass it through her sleeve (were in 6th grade at the moment) and we have to put in a pass through our computers so she puts in a pass and the teacher calls me and her up to the front. so i go with Brianna and she tells us to go to the office and so we go to the vice principals room so our reading teacher already called the office and my vice principal says"take off your hoodies. oh and Eboni - me - dump out your purse" we do it and the pad fell out of her sleeve so the principal picks it up and says "thats what i thought and gave her back her pad and said im so sorry, your teacher thought it was a vape so she let Brianna change her pad and let me go back to class sorry its so long!!! I used to think you only had your period for one day a month because they did not make it clear in school. I started my period when I was 11, and I cried because I was worried there was something wrong with me. My friend told me that you get them for about a week, I was soooo embarrassed 😳
