Here are the commands incase you can't make them out (will try to improve this in future):

sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https ca-certificates curl gnupg-agent software-properties-common

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io

sudo apt install jq

docker container ls -a

As others have mentioned, this installation method no longer works. I assume you have experienced the same problem and either have a solution or have changed to a different type of installation. An update would be greatly appreciated.

You must be the guy that keeps on giving.
First my Google Home can finally control my HomeAssistant and now I'm finally able to migrate my HomeAssistant to an SSD on my RaspberryPi3.
Your channel is amazing and so are you.
Thanks again, I'm happy I've subscribed to your channel!

Does anyone have an update date version of this installation? The curl command line does not seem to work correctly. I would love to check this way of installing.

MUST USE Debian as you recommended. I switched my distro and it worked! Many thanks.

Hell ya! If you're new to Linux like me and want to use this method on Debian, listen up! When I followed these instructions, I got an error that I didn't have "network-manager" or "AppArmor" installed, so the docker download failed. To solve this problem, use the following two commands.

apt-get install network-manager -y
apt install apparmor apparmor-utils auditd
-y

This would solve your issues, and you will be able to install Hassio with supervisor!

Goodevening,
I love this video it's the missing install option in the whole range of install options.
Could you also make this with docker-compose, so on ubuntu-server-docker with homeassistant-supervised through docker-compose?

Nice video. Do you have this also on docker compose perhaps?

1. Is this still a viable option in January 2023? 2. Are you able to perform updates as easily as HAOS?

Hi, It's a grate way to install Home assistant OS supervised. I can get it to work but still one question: After a reboot of the ubuntu server, all the 6 docker containers are gone. Any advise?

Thanks, this worked eventually! Great way to get dockerised HASS with Supervisor. Can run other things on my Pi now too. Fantastic, this video needs more exposure!

I get the error while using the script :(
[info] Install supervisor Docker container

This is great since it also allows me to run other Docker containers on my Atomic Pi and not worry about the 2 GB ram limit.

pulse audio gets taken over by hassio supervisor I think. No sound unless you do this kill. It hangs youtube and is a performance problem this is on Debian . This fixes temporarily
danny 4580 3967 0 19:55 ? 00:00:09 /usr/bin/pulseaudio --daemonize=no

It’s up but the supervisor option isn’t showing

These instructions no longer work. Ubuntu is not supported and you can only install it on current version of Debian. Github link in the final step does not exist or anything remotely close to it.
