Ford Focus Mk2: How To Enter Hidden Service Menu (Secret Diagnostic Menu)

The Ford Focus Mk2 has a hidden service menu you can access at home (within seconds). It help you diagnose faults and confirm that certain components work properly. The videos reveals how to:

TIP: Gauge Sweep doesn't just test if all is in working order it also slightly sets the needles after you have taken the instrument cluster apart... 😉👍🏻

Is there an option to dim the instrument display, I find it a bit too bright at night. There is no option on the light dial, no apparent options anywhere (I have the Focus 2010). Any ideas, maybe its in the secret menu?
