N4/N15 Sligo Urban Improvement Scheme

Sligo Urban Improvement Scheme involved the upgrade of the existing N4-N15 urban dual carriageway from just north of Hughes Bridge to just north of the R291 Rosses Point Road junction. The TII funded scheme also included the installation of state of the art Urban Traffic Control technology as part of the provision of an Intelligent Transport System (ITS) along the Sligo Inner Relief Road to optimise traffic flows through the junctions.
