Sometimes, it isnt about the money. I wouldnt be surprised if college hoops is getting too easy for her.

She should be able to make the same, unless some of these NIL deals are to entice players to play at a certain school, whoch would be bs.

You must not have heard of Cheryl Miller

Maybe. Just maybe? Because of the required study hours. Required classes. Required grades. The facilities/season length/time restrictions.

She can still do NIL deals, but can also have extra time to pursue other things as well as have full time basketball rather than worrying about the college requirements. Especially at this point as she would have to be a graduate student.

Stop jumping on the ignorant bandwagon of these comparing only her NIL valuation to only her future WNBA salary. You think that Nike, Gatorade, State Farm, Buick, Bose, etc are just suddenly going to drop her when she's going to sell out every arena she plays in next year along with boosting TV ratings? She may lose a couple of Iowa sponsors, but will pick up even more nationally and in Indianapolis, a much bigger metro area than anything in Iowa. And, Ionescu got a $24 million shoe deal - you think Clark isn't bigger than her? Clark also takes no booster money from Iowa's collective, so she's not losing anything there either.

Your $5-10 million transfer portal estimate is just that, a guess - and btw that would never happen anyway because even if she didn't leave, there's no way she's going to be a hired gun for one season somewhere else, after choosing to stay at Iowa for 4 years mainly because of her family but also because Bluder's system was a perfect fit for her (as she has said many times).
