Van Der Graaf Generator - Theme One (Belgium 1972)

Van Der Graaf Generator Performing Theme one on Belgian Television in1972. It is allegedly from 1971, but most likely from 1972, as the only time they did a Belgian TV gig in 1971 was in April, before Pawn Hearts was released, and possibly before "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers", which was also performed in this set, was written. They did, however do another performance on Belgian TV in 1972. Yes, this video is already on youtube, but this should be a pretty good upgrade to the version on here right now, in terms of sound and video quality

Blimey this brings back some memories. 10pm til midnight on a Friday night, with Tommy Vance on Radio One. Incredible musicianship. Was lucky enough to see Jax live guesting with Fish a few years back, just for one song, but a real treat. And as for the drummer. Wow!
