Unfortunately Gen Z was in High School when things were good and have been programmed to believe that Trump is a bad man. It's hard to fix that.

Conservatives have been too quiet about the debt, it will crush all of us.

I'm thankful my daughter and son in-law bought their home while Trump was president, if they would have waited they wouldn't be able to now.

Try being retired. We planned and make more in retirement than when working, but inflation and higher taxes have killed our dream. Each month I have to decide which bills not to pay. FJB & ALL OTHER LONG TERM POLITICIANS!!!

It’s not the older generation it’s literally a handful of people in Washington

We???

Dude, politicians did what they do every generation, while normal people just work.

So true. I'm making $20 dollars an hour paying cheaper for my rent than the property is worth and I'm still living paycheck to paycheck because literally everything is so much more expensive than it was when I graduated highschool five years ago.

Tell me Bidenomics is working, I implore you.

Not all of us messed it up. Just the ones we voted in

The "older generation" did not print a bunch of money. Politicians did that. A tiny, tiny minority of people in this country. Don't blame the rest of us.

I agree that it's hard for the current generation, but... they are, in large part, the ones who voted for the politicians who promised them a bunch of free stuff. And they were too short sighted (or naive) to see that there's no free lunch.

nobody young was buying homes when I was young. You knew you had to work and save and set yourself up for a major move like that

this makes me feel VERY seen. i have an education that my father worked hard enough to pay for, drove cross-country to the midwest to find a job in a place i could afford — alongside a second one at a grocery store. i work 60 hour weeks to get by, and being a homemaker has never felt further.

No it's these politicians getting rich

It’s true we did our young wrong but “going to college and make something of yourself” was all we heard growing up. We found out too late that it was useless. But you’re right, we should have not encouraged our kids to go to college.

Don't blame lazy people. They didn't do anything.

Not the older generations. It's the politicians, people who have never had a real job, that got us into the morass we're in now. Yes, it's way more complicated than that, but you can't blame only the "older generations."

Times now are not much different than 1990, interest rates for homes were double digits, starter homes were 6x annual gross income.

There is more inflation now, but minimum wage is also higher now too.

Life is harder now due to the woke culture and the misconception that you must get a degree and start your working life in extreme debt.

Start from nothing you can make yourself a very good life. Start with debt and you will be crawling out your entire life 😅
