Thanks Jim for this valuable info. You had promised in your live shows you will do a video on the visa bulletin and how to understand it. Am looking forward to that video. Thanks again for helping many.

As Fulbright scholar with J1 visa from Afghanistan, do I need to apply for waiver or not?
We haven't made any deal with current Taliban regime. I came to the U.S during previous government. Besides, the Fulbright program got stopped for Afghanistan after Taliban took over. I will put my life in danger if I return back now. What do you recommend for me??? Should I apply for waiver now, or just my asylum application is fine?

Hello Jim ☺️,

I want to ask a question. I got 5 year J1 visa and 2 year rule does not apply. In my ds2019 form, I have 1 month work. And I know that I have plus 1 month for travelling, so I will be staying 2 months in america. Can I work with that visa at another place ? I'd be glad ıf you answer 😊

I would like to go to the USA under the J1 visa category for a one-year fellowship. I plan to apply for a J1 waiver because my immigration case under EB2 NIW is already approved and documentarily qualified (DQ). I am now waiting for my priority date (PD) to become current, after which I will proceed to the interview. How can I transition from the J1 visa after completing my fellowship?

Hello, what if you were approved/given the J1 visa, but you did not actually travel on the visa. My daughter was an alternate for the programme and was not selected to actually travel on the J1 visa. Will she need to get a waiver?
