Kobo Aura Edition 2 Review - 2016 Kobo Aura

I have the Kobo Aura Edition 2 and it quite nice not as nice as the Kobo Aura One of course but the reason as why I choose the Kobo Aura Edition 2 was due to the fact of the size of the ereader as anything above 6" inch for me it a bit too big as I will be using this ereader outdoors a lot and to work therefore having a smaller factor is better for me as it makes the ereader more portable and comfortable and easy to carry but it a shame for the ereader having to have a lower resolution and the screen has a gap between the screen and the edges of the ereader and it feels bit cheaper but I can live with those factors in order to have a smaller screen for portability but good ereader overall as I am loving it as it has everything I need and more :)

They keep putting this on sale for $99 with free shipping. Trying to get rid of stock before the H2O upgrade, maybe? Buying the original Aura on Ebay for $49 seems a much better deal if they're the same specs.

Is the grip on the back hard plastic or is it rubbery feeling at all? Some reviews I have heard say it’s rubberized, some day it’s plastic. Thank you

the 3 major downgrades are the screen resolution and no micro sd card slot for extra storage and not having a flat screen along side with the screen edges but other then that it is a good ereader if you need a small portable and on the budget ereader then this is great as it is fast, works, it is stable and it has the basic features and more plus the button is nicer and easier to use then the old Kobo Aura HD Edition 1 so I would recommend this ereader yes :)

Bummer how crippled this is. Compared to a Boyue T63 or Onyx Boox with Carta 2 and microsd this doesn't make sense. I ordered the latter and cannot wait.

Who cares about a flush glass screen? I don't see how it could make any difference in the reading experience.

Please revieuw the Icarus omnia g3 i loved my g2 thinking of upgrading but i cant seem to find any videos i would love it it it was a more snap action device. Also if i can finaly delete multiple bookmarks in 1 book _-_
