Easyrain - MeetOurCars: introducing the Alfa Romeo 159

Easyrain’s beloved Alfa Romeo 159 took the first steps on track in 2015. It featured the very first version of AIS - Aquaplaning Intelligent Solution, that operated the same way the latest does: a high pressure spray of water breaks the layer of water on the #road and helps the tire restore the grip.

AIS first version was 400 kilos in weight and truly bulky, as electronic control system filled the car boot and spraying nozzle was not hidden into the front fascia as latest version. AIS proved to be effective since the first test and it has been producing good results, representing the starting point for further optimization and improvement.

In that moment we knew Easyrain would effectively counter aquaplaning. And we’ve never stopped!
