I'm also the child of a deaf parent. When day the space shuttle crashed back in the eighties, I sang the National Anthem at a pro basketball game here in Sacramento. Well over ten thousand people in attendance. Out of respect for those who lost their lives earlier that day, the arena observed a moment of silence. My dad had a center court, front row seat
to watch me. He cheered and brimmed with pride as if he heard every word. He sure as hell "felt" the audience clapping and cheering. This movie will rip my heart to pieces but I cannot wait to see it.

I'm a CODA and just seen the film!! I loved every minute!! It was like seeing my life on film except for the singing, lol. I laughed, but mostly cried!! It wasn't easy having deaf parents but I wouldn't change it. It's made me who I am today. RESILIENT

Literally just watched this film... film is putting it mildly. Absolute brilliant masterpiece!!!! Full of heart, comedy and character, Ten out to ten. WATCH THIS!!!! Emilia Jones keeps on surprising everyone :)

Marley Matlin is such a neat actress! I remember when she was on DWTS. And the actor who plays her brother was on Switched at Birth. Looks like a good heartfelt movie :')
