do note that the definition of a satellite is a something in orbit around earth or another stellar body. Not all objects in orbit are data collecting satellites, most are just pieces of debris that are incredibly small.

Photo was of satellites was them getting into orbit. You won't see it at that level. In long exposures you can for sure.

back in the early 90's, I was out at near Wagga at night with my friends, we played a game of who could see a satellite. Fun ended when our eyes adjusted to the night and we started seeing them every 10 seconds - I doubt they were "all" satellites, some would have been debris
Elon might have some responsibility but it's a bit rich to single him out as the prime culprit

wrong. they are only visible closely after their deployment due to their altitude compared to where the sun is over the horizon. it doesn't take long for them to move into their allocated orbits and then fade away.
