The LARGEST RC I've Operated - FULL SiZE Radio Control SKiD STEER | RC ADVENTURES

Mostly, these style of machines were made to be operated in environments where it was dangerous to have a human occupant. Examples can be as wild as clearing land mines for the military, or to the farmer who needs to have a machine in a grain elevator. These machines are used in toxic areas, and places that are uninhabitable for human beings. Now, hard working folks that have been affected by certain disabilities will have the ability to get back to work! Truly, innovative and amazing.

Recently, I had to bid farewell to the RCSparks Studio skid steer. I had some engine troubles, and after all was weighed out - it was not worth it for me to fix it. This opened an opportunity for me to look at these new robotic systems. The machine I am looking at today was dropped off by "Finning" an international dealer of the Caterpillar brand. Caterpillar has agreed to allow me to demo this machine, with a complete Remote Control Torc Robotics system. The skid steer is a 2016 242D, and truly is a beauty.

I figured I would film some of my experience today - and figured all of my fellow RC ADDiCTS would love this up-close look at some amazing technology!

I've been running a skid steer for years. Last time I was this impressed I got into my first cat, from a bob cat brand, and was so amazed at the 2 joy sticks versus foot controls for the bucket, can't wait to not be bounced around for 8 hours a day. Pure tech. Love it!

AWESOME, great for wheelchair users, used a skidsteer in the Army before, before losing use of legs, a real game changer, thanks RCSparks, keep posting this material up, the setup, is the same as the smaller scale RC, Cheers from Downunder.

nice. i've run one before from the cab. the jarring, jerking, and overall experience can leave one feeling beat up at the end of the day. this is a great idea.

Very appropriate for the RC Sparks Studio! A show idea could be a factory tour of a manufacturer or a construction crane that is operated from the ground with RC controls, endless possibilities of RC to share with us that we wouldn't otherwise get to see. Also, imagine FPV equipment operation. oh, also the bomb squad has a RC robot that enters dangerous areas, that would be cool to see a quick vid on.
