You're telling me some guy reported match fixers, and everybody was angry at him? That's really bad.

Would love to see the match where both players have secretly been asked to throw lol both players gradually having to play worse until they're both just double faulting then both making up phantom injuries

Match fixing, but instead of losing on purpose, you win on purpose.

As long as betting exists this problem will never be solved.

I actually wrote a paper on this topic in high-school, this subject blew me away when I heard about it 5 years ago. The ITF and a lot of tournament directors are corrupt.

One other thing -- I hope people don't watch this and immediately start thinking that any comeback in tennis is a sign of match fixing on the part of the losing player. Sports are sports, humans are humans. Blowouts happen and comebacks happen. A true fixed match usually does not include any type of drama or comeback. You get in, do the job, get out and get paid.

I am both a gambler and a tennis fan. The most unfortunate part of match fixing in tennis is that, if done correctly, it is completely undetectable. The examples covered in this video were sloppily organized by wannabe low-level mob guys who didn't cover their tracks. A sophisticated operation bets on the other guy as well. Not only does that lower any red flags, but it even helps the fixers as they will get better odds on their guy. The inherent greed of stupid criminals is the only reason we know about these instances. There are countless others we do not know about and will continue to not know about.

You have the most underrated Tennis channel ever! You’re super funny and make really clean videos. Also would love to see more of the Tennis React videos, those were really funny.

I feel it’s extremely weird that “Draft Kings” is now sponsoring the Tennis channel and the Australian Open. Talk about a conflict of interest

As a professional tennis coach, I can say many shady things happen in our sport. Silent bans for PED’s, match fixing, etc. I know a few players who have been banned, but have never been up close and personal with anything like it. Most of the guys who do it are struggling monetarily and are trying to make a living. The need to raise the prize money at the lower levels is very much needed.

Dude I'm so glad to see your channel grow. I remember less than a month ago you had about 2000 subscribers. The quality of your content is second to none!

This is such a magnificently done video, you can clearly see it took tons of hours to edit let alone the script and the commentary, can't wait for more content!

i tried to bet on tennis for a month - expected results were so varied - i couldnt break even. Do a vid on EPO - tennis changed in the 1990s. Racquet tech meant big servers took over, like all other sports in the world at that time the 6 foot 4 greyhound athlete took over tall skinny and lightweight, and, EPO....EPO meant athletes on the edges of excellence could compete on par with top players. Masking EPO went on for a decade until it was discovered

If I were rich, I would pay both players to lose the same match.
It would be great circus.

I simply cannot understand what type of people bets at significant volume in low ranking tournaments to make this operations possible
