I bought and installed this system, overall its a good system for the price. To drill the holes in the wall you will need a 1/1/4 inch or 30mm hole to feed the power and ethernet cable through, if you leave the power and ethernet cable out side which looks bad you will need 3/4 inch or 22mm hole. The cameras are 2mp which won't give a sharp view, won't pick up car number plate for example. I got good wifi range of 40 ft approx. You will need a power socket about 4ft from each camera .Mine came with hdd installed and the system was quite easy to setup. The phone app I used is ippro which works well. For the price I payed I would recommend this product.

Hi the hard drive does it not have the software on ? Is it just for memory and the software is already on the system and I can fit any tb memory without conflict
