Hi Guys,

I was able to pickup another Mac Pro 6,1 up which came with 16GB RAM and a 256GB Apple SSD. I thought it would be wise for me to upgrade the RAM and SSD so we have more space and possibly sell this on for a profit! Also i want to say a huge thank you for 200+ subscribers, really means a lot everyone.

Great job.
I finally acquired a 2013 trashcan Mac Pro late last year, and I also upgraded mine with 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD running Mojave.
My trashcan Mac Pro has a 1 TB Samsung 980 NVMe drive running through a simple adapter. I plan to upgrade the storage to 2 TB, and my 2010 cheesegrater Mac Pro will inherit the trashcan's current 1 TB drive.
A small compatibility note on NVMe drives in Mac Pros: you can only run macOS 10.13 High Sierra or above on an NVMe drive, as earlier versions of macOS don't have NVMe drivers.

Hi, can you please post the black magic speed test on that 1 tb oem apple 2016 ssd, i need to see how fast it is before i buy it.its cool cause you don, t need any adaptor..Im hoping your getting 1475 read..and 1375 write...Please post highest of 3 tests, , cant wait black magic is a free app ok...
