Thanks for your in depth review. Have a few question for u, GPS is precise because u're out in the open, but what about in a forest trail, surrounded by tall trees.
Also, say I keep away my phone, is the a voice navigation option to prompt me (i'll connect my phone with a bluetooth headphone) if i'm off the trail? Thanks.

I went on a trail which I had down loaded for off line use. It said I walked 2.00 miles but when I looked at my fitness tracker it said I walked over 5 miles. I don't understand the difference. My fitness tracker is very accurate, I've tested it. Also the pam rather than show a straight line we walked, it shows a rather jagged one along the main path. Also what does the green dots mean? Why are there two black dots and one green? We were two hikers.

Thanks for the review. Previously my iphone (older - 6s and older IOS), couldn't download the latest verison. But recently something changed and now I can download the last compatible version. So today i'm trying the alltrails app with my older iphone. We'll see how it goes.. Might upgrade to pro cause we tend to get lost.
