Along with 2 other of Sabater's albums, I held onto this one since 1970 but lost it in relocation...Thanks to wonderful, musical lovers like "SALSABRAVA68", I keep finding these most treasured classics of a golden era vapored away---alpha goosebumps of the individual kind. JIMMY SABATER was a Master Vocalist whose velvety ballads & salsa tunes will live for ever in the heartland of musicology. Like slamming a book on a table, Sabater's voice fueled inspirational zeal to singers like Joe Bataan, Hector Lavoe, Ruben Blades, et al. I keep all these past singers alive by singing their songs as I dance through Life.

No sabía que Sabater cantaba soul, al mero estilo de Joe Bataan.
