Royal Caribbean will likely have a Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal, but waiting to book your cruise once these sales begin is actually a mistake.

I was told by a RC rep to call about every 5 weeks to cover different promotions. I've done that and my originally priced 7 night Western Caribbean cruise that was $3300 is now $1974.

I re-priced my cruise once already. Saved $400 on a 7 day on Harmony. Will be monitoring drink package pricing though to see if I can get a deal on it. $70 a day is too much but $50 is a decent deal.

Big point you missed. Best price guarantee only covers sailings to April next year (2022). If your sailing is after that, it's not covered - so you would lose out on any price falls on Black Friday or otherwise after that date.

Good idea.. but only valid for the next half year.

Book before Black Friday also get's you a better cabin location, before everyone hops on and book during Black Friday and all the choice cabins you wanted is gone.

It's too bad the cruise lines don't automatically adjust the price, like a sliding scale as prices drop. Instead, you have to monitor prices like a cyber stalker to make sure you don't miss out. This is a predator approach to marketing, browser cookies and all that aside.

Another great video with valuable information, thanks Matt! I usually book my cruises throughout the year and if a sale comes that lowers my fare, I simply reprice it. It's not common that happens though, so I will take the "book as early as possible" approach!

We have a cruise coming on odyssey April 3, and already repriced it a few weeks ago, saved $800 since we haven’t paid for entire fare yet. We just owe less money as final payment due by January. I may try again just to see!

Does it still apply nowadays? Website says price adjustment within 48 hours from the time you booked.
