I'd take electrocute or dark harvest over comet. Zyra has actually a lot of range on her autoattacks which makes her harass even stronger since you can aggro the plants on a target of choice.

Pretty nice guide, probably the thing I disagree with the most though is maxing E first. Only do that if you, taking electrocute, against a melee, or are hitting every E. Q just does so much more damage. Most times you can put a few points in one and then max the other anyway depending how the game is going

I just recently became a Zyra main from hardstuck Silver to Diamond. I prefer the secondary runes for Presence of Mind and Coup de Grace when you completed the Mythic item. 💖

Zyra is also so good at leashing which a lot of support don't have. She excel at tower defense and good at anti ganks. Put 4 seeds and enemies will never bother ganking you again.
