I used to hate this setting, but now I've changed all of my cartilage piercings to it lol. Gunk doesn't get trapped, hair doesn't tangle, and the sparkle is still there. SO much easier for general life and wearing!

I have a round moissanite bezel, love it. Smooth, clean classic lines. Husband recently surprised me with an emerald cut diamond solitaire, we bezel set it as well with a trellis x feature under the head of the bezel. Love the bezels. So clean, smooth, no snagging or risk to stone.

I love my bezel set pear shaped engagement ring. My gusband got it at an estate sale and it's perfect. The ring has taken 20 years of wear with hundreds of hours of remodeling our home with no issues.

My oval opal is in a bezel, with square but smoothed diamonds around it, with an intricate cage style cathedral, all in gold. Yes, the opal is at risk for chipping or smashing but she’s never gonna fall out!!!!

My aunt has a Bulgari cradle setting, which is even more durable! If you haven't seen one, think of a bezel, but set into the body of the ring rather than raised above, with v-shaped cut-outs on the sides. The downside is that it doesn't get as much light, but she works with her hands so durability was the higher priority. It's also extremely 90s 😂

I don’t love a bezel for myself but I can tell you my prong setting snags on EVERYTHING! I always have fuzz getting under my prongs and one has broken off before and my diamond fell out. Always make me nervous!
