The Peloton Tread and NordicTrack 2450 are two of the most popular premium home treadmills on the market. They both have streamlined designs, touchscreens with subscription training content, and are made for running.

The Peloton Tread has slightly smaller dimensions, but the NordicTrack 2450 folds up to save more space when you’re not using it. The 2450 is also a little easier to move, but it is a good idea to have a designated space for either treadmill in your home.

As far as noise, they both sound about the same, but the NordicTrack has a larger motor with a higher max speed, and it inclines and declines. The Peloton only inclines.

For the membership content, Peloton excels in studio indoor trainer-led workouts, and iFIT stands out with outdoor guided workouts.

Both treadmills are great representations of what each brand offers, but our overall pick is the NordicTrack 2450. The treadmill as a whole has more training features and makes for a better experience with iFIT. If you love Peloton, you can’t go wrong with the Tread, but for the overall value, features, construction, and subscription training content, we prefer the 2450.

Is the shaking on the Pelo tread so bad that it would be disorienting? I'm already a Peloton bike owner and don't intend on running a 1/2 marathon, so I'm swaying towards the Peloton. However, I like that the 2450 folds, but concerned it would be too much of a machine, that it's for serious runners. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

The Peloton tread looks better aesthetically, but sometimes I wish I bought a cheaper treadmill.
