I usually use gpt for code but I tested GPT-01 to discuss sensitive subjects and it seems that it mainly is a chain of guiderails; even though I tried discussing facts and statistics it would shut me down because of a number of policy violations discussing certain subjects.

We are far from achieving AGI, and I will only consider that we've reached this milestone when the new models demonstrate critical thinking, creativity to generate abstract and original concepts, consciousness, and the ability to consistently reflect on the future. Until these criteria are met, we will not have AGI. The improved "reasoning" of these new models is truly interesting and will undoubtedly be the new trend starting next year, with all the major tech companies adopting similar approaches. At least there's an advantage in this: more advanced reasoning will improve efficiency, increase reliability, and minimize the risk of hallucinations and errors in responses. This is, without a doubt, the greatest advantage, and I'm really liking it, as these models will be extremely useful as tools.

Took 6 hours of working with an Ai system to create a very basic foot rig in Maya using Python. Just 3 bones and a heal and toe control controled by custom attribues. It wasn't difficult to see why current coders think Ai won't replace them, even though I disagree with that. Lots of hand holding and rewrites. I need to try this on 01.

I would have given this video a like but for some reason YT isn't showing the buttons related to like/dislike. I inspected the website and the html code is available where it should be but the buttons are hidden from view. Perhaps an update of the JS or CSS is causing the issue. I've tried removing the cache and using the incognito mode with no luck.

Thank you for making a video on all those things that i can read myself. Please post your experience of building something real with this model, not just reading what openAi says. Chain of thoughts is a very old concept now, in case you missed it.

This model was not designed to be great for content creation. Look at the white paper. It scores less than GPT4 in this area. This is for logic, not written language composition.
