For my redundancy I prefer to use a minimum of 7 triple locking carabiners, 4 sliding x anchors, 2 harnesses and when that doesn’t work I bring my jet pack with me. Gotta be bomber.

This is why I use 3 carabiners from Walmart, they even say climbing on the side like some weird brand but they work amazing!

Oh man this happened to a buddy of mine. He and his belayer were racing each other up two different variations of a pitch from a common anchor and, when they tied at the top, they jumped towards each other for a super cool high five. Unfortunately, one of the pitches was a slab and the other was overhung. So when they both missed and crossed over to opposite sides of the anchor, one was in front and one was behind. Luckily it was a deep water route or they would have been toast!

Basically just stop climbing with prot. Its just tricking you into thinking you're safe. Nothing is safer than free solo. Less stuff to weigh you down. ;)

Sometimes there will be two buzzards fighting over my rope like a dead snake and this will happen to me. I switched to lockers but then sometimes there will be another buzzard that comes by and unscrews them just for fun.
