Did I solve your problem in less than 1 minute? Then please help me out 🙌😊by subscribing to the channel and liking the video.

When inserting a date field, the date will have a specific format. It might be the case, that you don't like that format or that it's not appropriate for your document. You could of course always edit manually, but it's better to simply change the default date field form. So, if you want to change the default date field format, then you've found the right video.

If this video helped you, you could do me an awesome favor and destroy that like button 😍🙌 Thanks a lot!

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. It is very seldom that I find an applicable solution to the many, many, many shortcomings of Word. 👍👍

Thank you! This is just what I was looking to resolve. I needed to get rid of the automatic American date format, it was driving me crazy. I've now got my default as English (Australia) date format. Liked and subscribed.

Thank you. I am using a document with date fields where the user who is filling out the form needs to click on the date field - they then see a calendar and need to choose the correct date. But the document was created years ago and when they click on the date field it defaults to a date in 2018. How could I update the default suggested date on old forms to be today?
