As soon as the stuntman said "Ryan, on that day you gonna throw me for real, I can take it" I knew hes gonna die lmao.

the way he assume's Ryan's upset about something so petty as his numbers and hears how Ryan's actually upset about killing someone(which homelander made him do in the first place) like homelander can't even comprehend why his son would be upset about that.

Homelander taking Ryans milkshake away was just more salt on the wound.

man, Homelander is so devoided of empathy, humility or any consideration for human life he’s genuinely confused on why Ryan is upset that he killed someone

I love how they didn't write Homelander to be *just* a one-dimensional, terrible father. You can tell he's genuinely trying with Ryan, but because he's such an immature, sociopathic man-child it's almost like watching a kid pretending to be a dad, down to the absurd pettiness of taking the milkshake away. Brilliant.

What Homelander doesn't understand is that Ryan had a human mother who loved him very much, so wanting him to see humans as insignificant toys will NEVER work.

1:49, The look on Ryan’s face, it finally clicked that his dad is a monster.

The worst thing Homelander ever did was take Ryan's milkshake away

It really speaks to me that Homelander's default assumption is Ryan's that upset over mere numbers instead of literal human lives lel

1:52 that little twitch he did with his mouth is insanely accurate

Ryan has way too much humanity in him to become his father. Even if Butcher intervenes I don’t think Ryan will become like his father.

I don’t blame Ryan for not drinking it. He didn’t want a “breast milk” shake 😅

This show has so many dark humour, blood, nudity...
And then you have the most light joke of Homelander talking away Ryan's milkshake 😂😂

Taking Ryan's milkshake shows Homelander is more of a kid than Ryan.

This scene right here showcases that although both Ryan and Homelander have killed, the difference between the both of them Is Ryan actually cares and actually feels empathy for those who he's killed (Becca and now Coy), Homelander does not.

And that's a good sign that even If Butcher doesn't intervene, Ryan won't turn out to be another Homelander like Becca feared In S2.
