This is really great advice, and especially what you said about not confining your entire outfit to just one aspect of yourself. I keep a longer hairstyle but it's thinning a bit and my hairline is definitely going places. Sometimes I get annoyed by the lack of volume and how fragile my hair is, but mostly I'm fine with how it is, and I don't really center my style around "dressing up" my thinning hairs. I do however like keeping a beard to offset it a little.

Also, don't worry about losing your beard! It's not gonna go anywhere. If anything, the facial hair tends to get a bit thicker when the head hair goes.

Agree with the part about many other guides confining you to a certain look. Every article I found told me that if I decide to shave my head then I must grow a beard to compensate for it. I recently bought my first safety razor and started to enjoy shaving. If I ever grow a beard it'll be because I want it and not to try and hide something.

I never really thought being bald was particularly a bad thing. Maybe it's because I'm not bald, but it does just make you look more masculine.

I never even realized Kyle was sporting the bald look (and I’m an observant female); seriously didn’t even notice because he looks so put together and I guess the nice, thick beard balances the face in the same way a head of hair would. I like that you guys are advocating for style for everyone, not just the 22 year-old model types with thick manes of hair. :)

Went bald at 20. I was gutted but im used to it now. I grew a goatee, bit of an absolute unit of a goatee but for me losing my head hair I really felt that something was missing of my head. The goatee really changed that. So when the vid says 'grow a beard, yeah, a good reccomendation.
